Why did you choose to be a part of this collaboration project?
To share a testimony that saved my life, hoping it could somehow help or save others, even if it’s one person. I was honored to be a part of a collective group of extraordinary Women of Excellence led by one of the best book authors that created this collaboration.
Share a little about your topic.
I went from a high-speed healthy fit Army Girl with a balanced life and always the life of any party, outgoing and fully had my career in order to a devastating diagnosis after War in Iraq that led me to believe my life would basically never be the same or short-lived. I went from up to hitting rock bottom. At any given moment life throws curve balls and we may not be prepared to handle it at that very moment. When I had to still be a soldier after retirement in order to live, dancing helped save my life.
What encouraging words can you leave for the readers?
When the world seems to crumble, or when everything that was good just goes bad, find it in yourself to fight hard to just survive for you. Do it for yourself. One day at a time allowing yourself to make mistakes and leaving room to start over as many times as you want.
