Why are new beginnings something to talk about?
Definition of new is not existing before; make, introduced or discovered recently or now for the first time [from Oxford Language]
Beginning the point of time or space which somethings starts. The earliest stage of something. Origins of anything.
When we are born, we get our knowledge from our parents, teachers, the television, music, books, etc. so what we learn and are filled with, is how we will be in our lives.
We live our lives based on what we’ve learned since our birth, and sometimes, what we learned causes havoc in our lives (nothing against parents, teachers, etc. as we perish when we don’t have the right knowledge).
Things will happen that we don’t want to happen in our lives because of the knowledge that we have, remember people perish for lack of knowledge, and I say the right knowledge because there is a lot of knowledge out there and it’s not all right. Until we are aware of how our lives have been running due to the knowledge we have, that’s when we can change it and create the life we desire. We have the opportunity for new beginnings, and this is one way for new beginnings.
In life, it’s a given that things will happen, sometimes out of our control. For example, a few years ago, I got sick and was very sick to the point that my body was on its way out. However, as I am aware of my thoughts and aware that I can have divine health, I used the tools I’ve learned to be healed.
With being ill, I survived the illness due to the knowledge I gained and use (praises to Almighty God), and I took this time for new beginnings.
At the time I got sick, I was doing a lot. I was working many hours in the day and doing many projects at one time. When I was ill and in the hospital, I couldn’t do anything. One of the things that was on my mind was this is a time of reset, new beginnings. I needed to recalibrate.
When I recovered from the illness, I changed the way I did things. I no longer work many hours and no longer do many projects at once. I now have balance. This is the new beginnings I made at that point in time.
No matter what we are going through, there are always opportunities for new beginnings. One of the things we can do is to continually evaluate our lives and see if it is going the way we want it, and if not, work on new beginnings.
